In 2024, the Innovation Booster Fashion & Lifestyle Program awarded 9 ideas. These ideas were selected as winners after pitching their ideas to a prestigious jury existing of academia, brands, industry associations and investors and will be awarded up to 27,000 CHF to test the potential of their ideas:
4 ideas were awarded during the first call for challenges “Digital Transformation to answer ever evolving market demand”:
- AI-Driven Product Upcycle for Luxury Fashion by Gruppo Florence, CE SOFT, SUPSI and Accenture
- AI Enhanced 3D Model Maker by Guess and SUPSI
- Integrating GenAI to generate B2B business offers to leads or clients by Tucano, Hochschule Luzern and Insightable
- AI-Driven Inclusive Fashion E-commerce Imagery: Personalized for Every Body by Shootify and SUPSI
5 ideas were awarded during the second call for challenges “Transforming industry practices – Sustainability & Circularity Innovations for the Fashion industry”:
- Digital Sustainability for fashion industry by Assos, SUPSI and Karma Metrics
- DPP: how to build innovative traceability solutions for fashion by Hugo Boss, SUPSI and Antares Vision
- PolyCycle: Advancing sustainable cycling apparel through recycled polyamide Innovation by Assos and EMPA
- Design-Interventions for a Circular Fashion-Retail-Modell by HandelZ and FHNW
- Stimulating Innovation in Enterprise through Play by Eviden and SUPSI
The awarded Innovation teams will now have the chance to test the potential of their ideas to impact the Fashion & Lifestyle Industry in Switzerland.
